MazdaMovement “Mazda Meeps Spotlight” Week #3 Winner!!

I’ve known Matt for a years now and when I found out his car was this weeks “Pic4Swag” Week #3 winner I couldn’t have been more proud. He has been a big supporter of MazdaMovement.com since day 1 and has the drive and passion for Mazda. Congrats my friend! Well deserved. -Heath @MazdaMovement

This is his MazdaMovement journey….

Definitely an honor winning this contest. Makes me super happy and greatful! I’m Matt Lamphier from Deltona FL, I actually own 2 Mazdas currently. Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m 20 years old,
I work as an exterior refinishing and waterproofing contractor, which is odd because I’m fully certified as a moblie electronics tech. (Alarms,Navigation systems, stereo, and custom enclosures) Well my
first mazda was a brand new 2009 MazdaSpeed 3. I instantly began the modifications, full sound system, all suede interior, H&R lowering springs, white Konig lightnings and so on…

And then zoom zoom boom boom happened….

Well of course the dealership wouldn’t cover it so I put the speed down for awhile…

I then bought a 1992 Mazda Miata for a daily on December 14th,2010…..

I’m the type to not keep anything stock…so it needed paint, and wheels and a nice drop.

I was very happy with her for awhile….I started losing love for my MazdaSpeed 3….so now all my time and money will go into Miata…

I had gotten the fitment bug…

Stance Mindset 15×8 +25….with 25mm spacers..

After I had it like that for a few months I decided to turn my Miata into a complete headturner, and boy is it now…

I had goals of what I wanted…I wanted Workmeister wheels, bolt in roll cage and a nice paint job..

Here is some progress pix..

Now time to go to paint!!!!!

Well after having a fresh coat of paint…I decided to go a different route with my tailights…since stock ones wouldn’t look very good..

Now it’s time to get the car together for the new look!!

This is how she sits now…

Very long nights and days have been put into my car. Without the help of many this wouldn’t have been a possibility…I’d Like to thank my buddy Heath Patterson from MazdaMovement for bringing us Mazda enthusiasts
together in such an awesome and tight way…I’d also like to thank Tanq industries for the body /paint work, Guys at Discount Tire for best services, my parents for their love and support and of course last but not
least, my best friend Chris, He has been with me since day one with my Miata… Always motivated to help me and has never given up, I truly appreciate him.
